Lake Taupo

It's unanimous...

Everyone in our family has decided that we want to move to Lake Taupo. This place is soooo cool. We spent 3 days here and we had such a blast. We chartered a boat and they took us trout fishing and Kylee is the only one who got to reel one in. She caught a 20 inch rainbow trout. After fishing we went to the Prawn Park and got to feed the baby prawn and then we got to try our luck fishing for prawns in the ponds. No such luck...All we got was a bunch of wet kids. Captain fell in the water on the obstacle course near by and Joseph fell in the pond trying to touch the water. LOL. The next day we woke up early and went to a thermal heated pool with a dragon hydoslide. The kids loved it. We spent about 3 hours there and then we found this super cool park and ate lunch there. Then we went down the path to a little place where a thermal stream feeds into the Waikato River. The water is to hot to get to close but if you stay back aways then it is just right. Mike, Josh, and Kacee went the night before to check it out and they said they found out that you are allowed to swim in the buff... there were people there just relaxing and well let's just say I think they need to talk to their Bishop because of what they saw...HAHAHA I can't wait till Mike's parents come here so we can go back. There is just so much to do.
